Dina Eastwood files for legal separation from Clint Eastwood

Dina Eastwood filed for legal separation Monday in Monterey County Superior Court from her actor/director husband, Clint Eastwood.

Her petition seeks spousal support and physical custody of the couple's 16-year-old daughter, Morgan, whose legal custody would be shared by her parents. It also seeks leave to amend once the extent of community and separate property is determined and "pursuant to a premarital agreement."

Dina Eastwood's attorney, C. Michael McClure, did not respond to requests for comment Tuesday.

She confirmed in August that she and Clint Eastwood have been living apart for months.

The Eastwoods have been married since 1996 and lived in Carmel. They have one daughter together, and the actor has six other children with other women. Clint Eastwood was married once before, to Maggie Johnson, from 1953 to 1984.

According to People Magazine, Clint Eastwood, 83, is in Los Angeles, where he is directing his adaptation of the the Broadway musical "Jersey Boys."

Dina Eastwood, 48, is a former newscaster for KSBW in Salinas.

According to various media sources, problems arose in the marriage during the production of the reality show "Mrs. Eastwood and Company."
