Team News
Host nation Brazil will be forced to make a change as defensive midfielder Luiz Gustavo is banned.
In training, coach Luiz Felipe Scolari hinted that Paulinho, the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, was the likely replacement.
Scolari must also decide whether to keep faith with Fred after the striker struggled in recent games.
Neymar, though, is fit despite suffering knee and thigh problems during the dramatic win over Chile.
Colombia, meanwhile, have no fresh problems and could field the team that beat Uruguay in the round of 16.
Match Notes
Four down, three to go.
The dream 200 million Brazilians still hold dear remains a possibility as their team face South American rivals for the right to meet France or Germany in the semi-final.
The 3-2 penalty shoot-out win over Chile took much out of the squad, to the extent that coach Luiz Felipe Scolari called in the team's psychologist to help the players.
Colombia remain confident and the clash between Neymar and James Rodríguez - they have nine World Cup goals between them - could be a defining factor in the outcome.
Stat of the game: Rodríguez has scored six goals in his last six games for Colmbia.
