President Barack Obama appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday night, and earlier that afternoon, First Lady Michelle Obama taped Monday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. While her husband read "mean tweets" for the late-night set, Michelle got people moving and grooving with Ellen DeGeneres.
"You're doing something new at the White House for the Easter Egg Roll, right?" the host asked.
"In honor of the fifth anniversary [of the Let's Move campaign] I've issued this challenge. We're calling it #GimmeFive and we're using the hashtag #GimmeFive on social media," Michelle said. "We're asking folks all across the country to #GimmeFive ways their leading a healthy life. We've got a lot of celebrities involved," she said, thanking Beyoncé, Nick Jonas and Ryan Seacrest for their involvement. "We're gonna take over the Easter Egg Roll this year with a #GimmeFive dance, and actually the So You Think You Can Dance all stars are coming to the Easter Egg Roll to teach the whole South Lawn this dance."
She added, "I have actually challenged this woman right here to learn the #GimmeFive dance."

The audience cheered as Ellen reveale that she's been "practicing somewhat." The comedian continued, "I'm very busy, very, very busy and I'm not really good at choreography. I'm more of a free style."
"You're more street?" Michelle asked, which Ellen confirmed. The Finding Dory star then admitted, "I have tried to learn the dance, and so if that's your challenge...You have learned the dance I assume?"
"Yeah, I've been...I'm busy, too, you know!" Michelle said with a laugh. "But I have taken [lessons] backstage. I just sort of looked over and I just thought, 'Maybe we can do this'...if you're up for the challenge!" Ellen agreed, but added, "The thing is your people said you've been practicing for a year so."
"My people?" Michelle asked. "You think I have people?"
"Yeah, so many people," the comic joked. "Everyone was telling me. Well, listen, I'm in better shape than you so what we'll do is…I mean, we know that from the push-up competition [in February 2012]."
"Yes, clearly," Michelle joked before clarifying that she won the push-up competition.
"You did not," Ellen protested. Michelle fired back, "I did! I absolutely did!"
Ellen jokingly accused Michelle of cheating, then made peace. "OK, let's not [argue]...You're pretty."
Michelle suggested that they see who's more in shape "here, now."
"A push-up competition again?" Ellen asked. FLOTUS replied, "No! No! The #GimmeFive."
"Look how scared you were of that!" the host joked.
"Don't let me take off my jacket," Michelle joked. "Don't make me take off my jacket!"

Once they hit the dance floor, Ellen told her, "You've rehearsed it, you've practiced it and it's part of the Let's Move campaign. It's important to move. It's important to dance." Sensing Ellen's competitive spirit, Michelle warned her, "I got the dance steps the same time you got the dance steps, so don't even try it!"
Before they danced to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' "Uptown Funk," Michelle's mic pack fell off.
"Oh, I could've taken you down!" Ellen joked.
"Is it gonna stay?" Michelle asked as a P.A. fixed her microphone. "Because there is some hip thrusting."
