A-LIST celebs walked from a party to a restaurant yards away — while green campaigner Gwyneth Paltrow used a gas-guzzling LIMO.

he Hollywood actress, 39, stunned onlookers with a chauffeured jaunt that lasted just ten seconds.

She and her Coldplay star husband Chris Martin, 35 — who DID walk — had been among guests at Stella McCartney’s Los Angeles boutique to celebrate her dad Sir Paul’s video for his new single My Valentine.

The revels continued at an Italian restaurant — described by one source as being “pretty much next door”. Most of the star-studded crowd, who included Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr and Jane Fonda, were happy to stroll to the swanky establishment — a journey which one witness said was a “short walk” of barely 100 yards.

But Iron Man actress Gwyneth - who wore high-heel boots to the bash - spurned the opportunity to use her own steam.

The car ride that dented her eco credentials came on the eve of Earth Week — and just 18 months after Coldplay became patrons of environmental law organisation ClientEarth.

A spokesman for the actress later said she took the limo on security advice — but confirmed: “Chris walked.”
